We are seeking a web developer with the skills you would find attractive in a candidate. This should be totally hands-on experience, experience in both Shopify and WordPress.We ask for the budget as we are sure you can handle the whole spectrum which will include responsive sites that are SEO optimized, performance and the user experience as well as conversion and custom coding too.

Responsibilities:

Develop & customize WordPress themes (Thrive, Astra, Genesis, OceanWP) and Shopify themes (Liquid).
Build responsive, fast websites using Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi, WPBakery, Avada, Replo, Shogun, GemPages, Zipify.
Design landing pages, sales funnels, custom layouts, product pages, and high-converting custom post types.
Manage & configure plugins and third-party apps for added functionality.
Implement on-page SEO (Yoast, Rank Math, schema markup, alt tags, image optimization) for WordPress & Shopify.
Optimize performance: caching, lazy loading, minification, CDN, and Shopify Core Web Vitals.
Handle Shopify admin: products, collections, orders, and store management efficiently.

Requirements:

Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent field
Experience: 2 – 3 years of Shopify development experience.

Technical Skills:

Custom theme and plug-in development experience.
Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
Strong experience with page builders (ex. Elementor, Beaver Builder, etc.).
Good understanding of SEO and speed optimisation.
Experience developing Shopify themes and liquid coding.
Familiar with the leading page builders available for Shopify.
Basic knowledge of SEO and speed optimization considerations.
Basic understanding of shop management admin interface.

Preferred Qualifications:

Shopify Plus/WooCommerce experience
Git & version control knowledge
UI/UX and responsive design expertise
Web application security best practices
