WordPress Developer

(2 – 3 years)

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic WordPress Developer with 2 to 3 years of experience developing and customizing themes, writing custom code, using plugins, and building landing pages with popular page builders. An ideal candidate should be able to develop and maintain WordPress websites that are quick, responsive, and user-friendly.

Responsibilities:

Develop and modify WordPress themes such as Thrive, Genesis, OceanWP, Astra, etc.
Create new layouts and customize functionality by employing PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Develop and maintain landing pages and websites using Elementor, Elementor Pro, Beaver Builder, and other page builders.
Install and manage plugins to fulfill website functionality specifications.
Improve websites to increase website speed, performance, and SEO.
Debug and fix issues related to themes, plugins, and responsiveness.
Work closely with the UX/UI designer and content team to turn mockups into functioning websites.
Update and maintain websites and plugins and themes on a regular basis.
Understand business/client requirements and translate them into a functioning website.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in WordPress development.

Technical Skills:

2 to 3 years of hands-on WordPress development experience.
Strong understanding of custom theme development and modification.
Proficient in Elementor/Elementor Pro and other page builders like Beaver Builder.
Good knowledge of WordPress plugins – installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Experience with custom coding using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
Ability to build responsive landing pages from scratch.
Familiarity with SEO best practices, website performance optimisation, and cross-browser compatibility.
Knowledge of WordPress admin dashboard (for pages, posts, menus, media, etc.)
Basic knowledge of version control tools like Git is a plus.
