Quality Assurance Engineer
(1 – 3 years)
Niotechone Software Solution Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a qualified and meticulous Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to work in our expanding development team in Rajkot. You will be instrumental in the quality and performance of our custom software, web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
- Manual and automated test cases to verify the quality of the product in web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
- Work hand in hand with development teams to learn about product features, requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Detects, documents and monitors software defects, confirming corrections and keeping comprehensive test records.
- Perform regression, performance, and usability testing on a variety of platforms.
- Engage in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure agile testing standards.
- Support continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines and keep automation test scripts current.
- Ensure high quality of all custom software, cloud and .NET Core applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Technology or a related degree.
- 0 to 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or other similar positions.
- Good knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance (QA) techniques.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities and a sharp eye.
- Skill to interact well with developers, project managers and clients.
Technical Skills:
- Manual testing and automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Postman).
- Experience with Microsoft.NET, ASP.NET Core and web application testing environments.
- Experience in API testing, database validation, and UI/UX validation.
- Knowledge of Agile and DevOps processes.
- Practical experience with bug-tracking software, such as JIRA, TestRail, or others.
- Simple scripting in JavaScript, Python, or C# (a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
Practical experience in a custom software development firm or.NET development setup.
- Azure cloud application testing and Enterprise mobility solutions exposure.
- Experience in mobile app testing (Android and iOS).
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Git, and test automation systems.
